Hello.

I began working in a law practice in 2009 as a paralegal to an outstanding bankruptcy attorney. Inspired by the transformative power of bankruptcy, I attended law school (while working full time and raising two young children), and started my own practice, where I added estate planning and probate work. â€‹â€‹

Our firm embraces a gentle approach while being your steadfast advocate. We value

  • Education: We want you to truly understand the process so that you can let us carry this burden and you can tend to the rest of your life.

  • Honesty: We will tell you the truth, even if it's a hard truth. Knowledge is power.

  • Justice: Economic justice is justice! Financial institutions have a lot of money and power. We bring the fight for you, the normal human.

I am the mother to two grown children who are the loves of my life. I am also the provider of food and snuggles to two rescue dogs.

I earned my bachelor's degree from the University of Puget Sound (Major: French; Minor: Music), my Master of Arts from the University of Puget Sound, and my Juris Doctor from Seattle University.

I love to travel, and have been fortunate to have been to many great places that have enriched my life. I quilt, knit, and crochet, although not very well. My dogs and I enjoy exploring the outdoors whether hiking in our beautiful PNW, or kayaking on local lakes.

What sets us apart

We are a family-owned business. Attorney Amy and Paralegal Peter are sister and brother who started this firm in order to treat our clients as individuals, not as a corporate asset. Our first step in the process is getting to know our clients, their circumstances, and their wishes. With that an our North Star, we work towards strategies and solutions that will serve our clients in the best possible way. We want to help you reach your goals using the law as a tool on your journey. Like you, we are real people making decisions with real-life experience.
